Journey to Songwriting
Before the pandemic, I joined my church worship team and felt a tug to start writing music. I began crafting songs in spare moments, eventually recording my first EP, New Life Reigns, in a local Santa Clara studio. After a year, I moved to Los Angeles to write and record independently, but found my creative fit with a Nashville songwriting community, where I still collaborate today. Since joining them, I’ve released 16 songs, exploring themes of gentleness, interdependence, and values that remind listeners of their worth and dignity as made in God’s image.
Friendship and Faith
Throughout the years, many friends and family have inspired and supported me, especially during times of struggle while living in Morgan Hill and working temporary jobs in Silicon Valley. Their encouragement taught me the value of vulnerability and strength in Christ, and many of my songs reflect that foundation of friendship. I believe in the truth of Proverbs: “Iron sharpens iron” and that some friends stick closer than a brother — guiding and shaping me along the way.
